Guam sends over 100 competitors to Marianas Pro Nagoya

Over 100 athletes from Guam are heading to Japan to compete in the Marianas Pro Nagoya, an elite jiu-jitsu tournament featuring more than 700 competitors from across Asia.
The event serves as a key qualifier for the prestigious Marianas Open International Championship, held annually on Guam.
Winners will earn a spot to compete on island, reinforcing Guam's reputation as a global hub for high-level jiu-jitsu.
“The level of competition at Marianas Pro Nagoya is outstanding, and we are excited to see such strong representation from Guam,” said Steve Shimizu, President of the Marianas Open. “This event not only highlights the talent and dedication of our athletes but also strengthens the connection between Jiu-Jitsu communities across the Pacific and Asia.”
