Youth Art Month contest now open for submissions

The theme of the contest is "Healing Through Colors,” and challenges participants to create original artworks that showcase how colors can represent healing, hope, and emotional well-being. 

Whether through vibrant hues or soft pastels, young artists are encouraged to illustrate how art can be a transformative force in their lives and communities.

To ensure fair competition, participants will be divided into the following categories:

Accepted Mediums are painting, drawing, mixed media, and digital art. All artwork must be 8.5 x 11 inches.

 

Each school must select the top three artworks per category for submission to Sen. Shelly Calvo’s Office

Awards & Recognition

Prizes:

  1. Certificate of Recognition from Sen. Shelly Calvo's office
  2. $250 per overall winner per category
  3. Art supplies for the winning school
