The Guam Legislature's Committee on Rules held a meeting earlier this week and adopted four resolutions.  

This comes as Speaker Frank Blas Jr. called senators into a mock session he said to benefit their new colleagues.  

Now, among them, two resolutions sponsored by Spkr. Frank Blas Jr. which established special legislative committees, one focusing on the Guam experience and another on business policy review.

Additionally, the committee approved Resolution 19 relative to authorizing the legislative counsel, or other retained counsel, to represent the 38th Guam Legislature  in the Supreme Court of Guam in Thomas Fisher vs Telo Taitague and Resolution 20, relative to authorizing the reimbursement of legal fees to the Office of Senator Taitague for legal fees expended in defense of her office in the case, in her official capacity as senator of the 37th Guam Legislature

Meanwhile, the Committee on Rules is set to meet on March 13 at 1 p.m. to finalize bills for the upcoming legislative session.to review all four resolutions, they are available on the Guam Legislature's website.

The mock session is scheduled for March 18.
