Cockroach infestation at Maya's Restaurant leads to suspension of sanitary permit

A Dededo restaurant has had its sanitary permit suspended by Public Health.

Maya’s restaurant received fewer than 41 demerits, though its permit was suspended due to a cockroach infestation.

Other notable demerits the eatery was cited for include one employee failing to keep hands clean and properly washed, food contamination not prevented during food preparation, storage, and display, and hand washing facilities not adequately
supplied and accessible.
