Former senator Regine Biscoe Lee is officially the Guam Visitors Bureau's newest president and chief executive officer. 

She accepted the board's offer on Tuesday. 

Lee telling KUAM, "As someone who voluntarily left government to return to the private sector, I know what’s at stake for the thousands of working families and businesses that rely on tourism.  We won’t let them down.  We have a great team at GVB.  We know who we work for, and we are ready to get the job done."

She will be making an annual salary of $146,400. 

Her first official day on the job is March 11.

When asked who she would decide to select as her vice president, Lee says "No comment just yet."
