Peter Duenas returns with new episodes of 'The Outdoor Chef' after long hiatus

An old friend who years ago inspired, entertained and used the universal language of food to connect with Guamanians worldwide is making his triumphant return to the airwaves. Chef Peter Duenas is best known for his kitchen mastery with his restaurants like Meskla and Meskla Dos, but he also gained fame for The Outdoor Chef, his wildly popular travel and food show. And now, after a long hiatus, he's back.
To celebrate the new season, he held a watch party at Triple J in Upper Tumon, during which he made guests an amazing island-style dinner.
"We've done a few shows already, but we're trying to do a mix of local and some traveling. Obviously, I look for any adventure, and wherever it takes me, I go," he expained. "We have some shows that we've shot already – Alaska, Bali, Rota, and those are up and coming for the season. I had so many fans come up to me and say, 'Man, I miss your show, when are you going to do it?' And so that motivated me to want to do it again. And now here we are and we're doing it again and it's lots of fun."
