Congressional Delegate James Moylan introduced a House resolution to officially recognize March as National CHamoru Heritage and Culture Month. This, he says, is in honor of the rich cultural legacy of Guam's indigenous people.

The resolution aims to highlight the significant contributions, traditions, and history of the CHamoru community, emphasizing the importance of preserving and celebrating their unique heritage.

He adds this designation serves as a tribute to the resilience, perseverance, and enduring spirit of the CHamoru people.
