Chief Kepuha replacement statue installed in Hagatna

Twenty-two months since the Chief Kepuha statue was knocked down by the strong winds of Typhoon Mawar.
The replacement statue is now up in Hagatna.
It's covered up for now until government officials hold a dedication ceremony to unveil the new statue.
Adelup confirmed this effort is part of a rehabilitation project coordinated by the office of the governor and the Lt. Governor of Guam, the Island Beautification Task Force, the Department of Parks and Recreation, and Senator Sabrina Salas Matanane to restore the statue following damage from Typhoon Mawar.
This restoration is also made possible through the collaboration of public and non-governmental partners including Guam Contractors Association, Guam Chamber of Commerce, Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association, Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Smithbridge, Proferre and Pacific Federal Management, and GMSI.
Again, details on the formal dedication ceremony will be announced soon.
