32 recruits graduate from the 23rd Fire Cycle, new cycle starts in April

It was a proud and emotional moment on Saturday as 32 men and women stood before family, friends, island dignitaries, and their brothers and sisters in blue, officially becoming the newest members of the Guam Fire Department. After six months of intense training, pushing them to their physical, mental, and emotional limits, the 23rd Fire Cycle has now answered the call to serve.
During the ceremony at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort, top honors were awarded to Jeff Aggabao as Honor Graduate, Jeremiah Sablan as Most Physically Fit, and Jose San Nicolas as the Hose Drag Champion. The class also performed their original song, ‘23 is Rolling’, celebrating their journey together.
In a defining moment, the new firefighters learned which fire stations they will now call home, ready to protect and serve our island community. And with a new training cycle set to begin in April, Guam’s next generation of firefighters is just around the corner.
Congratulations to the 23rd Fire Cycle!
