Guam Memorial Hospital’s Volunteers Association hosts 60th charity ball to support hospital equipment needs

Dust off your cowboy boots and shine up your best baubles, this year’s Guam Memorial Hospital Volunteers Association charity ball is going country-western.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the ball is set for April 26 at the Dusit Thani, with the theme “Boots and Baubles.”
Founded in 1965, the GMHVA has played a vital role in supporting patient care and securing millions of dollars funding for critical hospital equipment.
This year’s charity ball will also feature the “Legacy of a Lifetime Tribute,” honoring charter member Margaret Jones.
GMH Deputy Assistant Administrator of Nursing Services Liezl Concepcion said, “Your donations have a direct impact on our ability to treat patients effectively and safely. This is not just a gift of equipment, it is a gift of hope, healing, and opportunity to countless individuals who rely on us.”
Adding to the excitement, Triple J Auto Group has donated a Ford Ranger STX pickup truck as the grand prize for the charity raffle.
Proceeds from the ball will help fund essential hospital equipment, including ICU beds, an anesthesia machine, and rehabilitative service tools.
