Full Year Continuing Appropriations Extensions Act 2025 signed into law by President Trump

Guam Delegate James Moylan announced the passage of the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025. This legislation successfully prevented a government shutdown, averting potentially significant disruptions to essential services.
This Act secures funding to keep vital government programs running through the end of Fiscal Year 2025.
Some of the significant highlights of the Act are the increased funding for national security, veterans' healthcare, and nutrition programs. Additionally, the appropriations will support critical infrastructure developments, including the Guam Missile Defense System, roadway repairs, and the repair of the Glass Breakwater, which protects Guam's harbor.
Furthermore, the Act fully funds the pay raise for junior enlisted soldiers, providing them with a 10% increase— the largest raise in 40 years.
The Toxic Exposure Fund for veterans is also fully funded, honoring the service-related healthcare needs of our courageous veterans.
