The Guam Power Authority announced a preventative maintenance outage scheduled for the village of Dededo on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m.

Customers affected are along Lobo Street, Calle Duenas, North Ukudo Street, Chedo Street, Inda Street, and surrounding areas.

Customers also affected include Southern Link PS Waste Water Pump, Okkodo High School, The Village Kidney Care Center, Fin Japanese Restaurant, and Ukudu Warehouse.

GPA will be making system improvements and conducting preventative maintenance to avoid future power outages. In most cases, the job can be done with no impact to customers; however, sometimes the power needs to be shut off in order for the crews to work safely.

If you have a generator, make sure your main breaker is in the open position for the safety of our line crew.

Have a plan for alternate power sources for electrical medical equipment, charge all cell phones and minimize opening refrigerator and freezer doors during the outage.

For power emergencies, please contact GPA Power systems control center (PSCC) Dispatch at (671) 475-1472/3/4.
