One dead, two rescued in kayaking incident at Tanguisson Beach

Guam Fire Department units responded to Tanguisson Beach Saturday morning following reports of distressed kayakers over the reef.
According to GFD Spokesperson Lt. Nick Garrido, at 10:58am personnel located three individuals in the water.
A female kayaker was safely brought to shore and required no medical attention. A male minor was able to make it back to shore independently and was transported to Guam Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
Tragically, a 25-year-old man was found unresponsive. GFD personnel initiated CPR, but after consulting with medical control, resuscitation efforts were discontinued due to the patient’s condition.
