Attorney General Moylan's billboard still stands amid dispute with Governor

A heated dispute between Guam's Attorney General Douglas Moylan and Governor Leon Guerrero is coming to a head over the removal of a public billboard in Hagatna.
The Department of Parks and Recreation ordered its removal by March 24 to prepare the site for the reburial of ancestral remains.
But as of this morning, the billboard is still standing.
Moylan is refusing to take it down, demanding proof that the site was properly designated for reburial.
In a letter to the DPR Director Angel Sablan, he questions why this location, near a busy intersection, was chosen over alternatives like the Chamorro National Shrine.
He accuses the Governor of using cultural preservation as a political tool to silence his office, arguing that the billboard, approved by the Hagatna Mayor, has been an important public communication platform for years.
In the meantime, Moylan is requesting a meeting with Sablan to discuss further.
Sablan confirms with KUAM that he will be meeting with him.
