Driver in tourist robbery shooting in jail after testing positive for drugs

The man accused of being the getaway driver in the deadly robbery of a Korean tourist is back behind bars after failing a drug test for the third time. Stefen Keanu Camacho appeared before Presiding Judge John Terlaje on Monday, after testing positive for methamphetamine again.
The judge, frustrated by repeated violations, told Camacho, “This is your third time here, all for ice.”
Camacho had been under house arrest, but after another failed drug test, the judge ordered him back to jail, setting his bail at $1 million. Prosecutors left the final decision to the court.
Judge Terlaje also spoke directly to Camacho’s parents, who are his third-party custodians and are responsible for ensuring their son followed the conditions of his release.
With another court hearing set for June 16, Camacho remains in custody.
