A new hands-on science hub at the University of Guam is bringing learning to life, offering students a chance to explore Guam's unique environment in a fun and engaging way.

The CHalan Deskubre hub, located at UOG’s Dean Circle, officially opened with interactive exhibits highlighting native plants, sea turtle conservation, and coral reefs.

The hub aims to inspire young minds in stem with features like a microscope station, where kids can get a close-up look at the microscopic world around them.

Governor Lou Leon Guerrero praised the initiative, saying it showcases new and innovative ways to engage students in education.

UOG officials said the hub will be open to school groups and the public by reservation, serving as a resource to inspire future scientists and environmental leaders.
