The man accused in the murder of Michael Castro could be granted his request to travel off island while waiting for his day in court.

Defendant Nicholas Moore, who remains on house arrest, asked the Superior Court judges to allow him to travel to Florida.

The reason is to attend his sister's wedding.

Moore is expected to appear before Magistrate Judge Jonathan Quan tomorrow where parties will argue the request.

You may recall, Moore has multiple criminal cases filed against him including the murder case, a separate drive-by shooting case that's faced ongoing delays, and a criminal sexual conduct charge.
