United Airlines is celebrating the opening of their new Guam-Taipei direct service.

The new service is the second new route United has launched for Guam within a year. Along with travel partner the Guam Visitors Bureau, United welcomed customers to the inaugural flight between the two cities, which will operate twice weekly.

KUAM’s very own Nevaeh Anderson will be bringing you more on the experience of this new direct flight.

Sam Shinohara, Managing Director of Airport Operations, Asia/Pacific at United, said, “United is connecting two of the most beautiful tropical destinations in the region to offer our customers more unique travel experiences. Additionally, the launch of the new Guam-Taipei route opens new tourism markets for both Guam and Taipei and is a leap in a positive direction in the recovery of Guam’s tourism recovery efforts. We are committed to ensuring this new route is a success.”
