The Guam Coalition Against Sexual Assault & Family Violence and its partners invite the community to join the nation as we recognize the month of April 2025 as “Sexual Assault Awareness Month,” “Child Abuse Prevention Month,” and further recognize April 6 to April 12, 2025, as “National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.”

It is through long-standing partnerships and joint efforts in public awareness to engage with the community by honoring our island’s survivors of crimes and acknowledge the impact it has on the community.

According to the Guam Police Department’s Uniformed Crime Report, a total of 729,933 cases were reported in Guam between 2019 to 2023.

The Department released information that in 2024 on violent crimes alone, there were 400 assault cases, 273 harassment cases, 226 terrorizing cases, 224 criminal sexual conduct cases, 206 aggravated assault cases, 97 family violence cases, and 72 child abuse cases.
