US Coast Guard Oliver Henry returns to Guam after successful maritime operations

The US Coast Guard’s Oliver Henry has returned to Guam after a significant 4,844-nautical-mile voyage from Hawai'i, completing maintenance and making history along the way.
After several months in drydock, the crew conducted operations, responded to a search and rescue case, and made the first ever U.S. government vessel visit to Nauru.
The 19-day voyage included a successful SAR rescue and a port visit that strengthened maritime security partnerships with the pacific region.
Lieutenant Ray Cerrato, commanding officer, commended the crew for their adaptability and dedication to regional safety.
This mission underlines the U.S. Coast Guard’s commitment to peace, presence, and partnership in the Indo-Pacific region.
