The man wanted in connection to a kidnapping and shooting reported in Yigo has been captured.

Jathan Tedtaotao was located at a residence in Yigo and taken into custody without incident, according to Guam Police Department Officer Berlyn Savella.

"The Guam Police Department expanded the search of the Talofofo Incident, making contact with known
associates." said Savella in a news release issued at 4:29am Sunday. "Through information and assistance received from the public, this led our detectives toward a residence in Yigo."

She adds, "GPD understands the earlier information pushed out was based on the identification from witnesses and understands the earlier information pushed out was based on the identification from witnesses and victims involved in the incident that occurred in Talofofo."

Savella said investigations continue to determine what involvement, if any, Tedtaotao may have had
with the Talofofo incident and to determine his role of others who are actively being sought at this time.

The GPD Incident Command System will remain operational in the Talofofo area.
