Police made an arrest in a deadly hit-and-run crash that occurred more than a month ago along Route 16 in Barrigada Heights.
58-year-old Daniel Gilbert Guerrero is arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide while under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and death, imprudent driving, speeding, no driver's license and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
Guerrero allegedly admitted to police that he smoked the drug ice the night of the crash.
The pedestrian killed was identified as 51-year-old Thillia Nathan.
Investigators say a relative turned Guerrero after he fled the scene.
Authorities found meth and a glass pipe in his car.
Guerrero is being held at the Department of Corrections prison.
