The U.S. Coast Guard, in coordination with Guam Fire Rescue and the U.S. Navy, is actively searching for 58-year-old Jeffery Hattori, a missing boater last seen departing Hagåtña Boat Basin at 5:30am on April 12 aboard his 14-foot skiff, Lady G.

Hattori was expected to return by 4pm the same day. His vehicle and boat trailer remain at the basin, and he has not been heard from since.

His vessel is equipped with a blue bimini top and reportedly has flares and a flashlight on board.

Search efforts are ongoing from the U.S. Coast Guard Response Boat-Medium crews scouring waters from Hagåtña to Ritidian Point. U.S. Navy HSC-25 helicopter providing aerial searches and Guam Fire Rescue teams checking shorelines and buoys.

An Urgent Marine Information Broadcast was issued to mariners.
