A scam alert was announced out of the Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency.

Authorities urge the public to be cautious if you see this notice for fraudulent imports, requiring payment.

Officials said this document can be recognized by the source’s use of an outdated CQA logo, digitally superimposed stamps, the forged signature and unofficial title of an agency representative, and it does not use an official CQA letterhead.

Guam Customs alerted the public that this document is not sanctioned, approved, or endorsed by CQA.

You are asked to avoid interaction and communication with the individuals behind this scam.
