USS Nimitz departs Guam as search for missing sailor presses on

The search continues for a missing sailor with the USS Nimitz.

Gabriel D. Holt was last seen around 11:57 Friday night between Hotel Nikko and Gun Beach.

He's described as six feet tall, 192 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

At the time, he was wearing a white tank top, green shorts, and gray shoes.

As KUAM reported, the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group had just arrived in Guam earlier that day for a scheduled Port visit.

Guam police and Navy officials confirmed the search for Holt is active and ongoing. 

Meantime, there have been reports of possible sightings of holt along various areas in Tumon Bay but GPD has not confirmed any of them.
