The U.S. Navy has officially called off the search for Gabriel D. Holt, a sailor assigned to the USS Nimitz, who was last seen in the Tumon area around 11:57 p.m. on Friday, April 18.

The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group confirmed that Holt's family has been notified.

Holt has been listed as “duty status whereabouts unknown.”

Meantime, search efforts spanned 120 hours and covered more than 11,000 square nautical miles before being suspended.
