Congressman Moylan launches initiative to amplify Guam's voice in Washington, D.C.

Congressman Moylan has announced groundbreaking discussions to create a stronger channel between the Government of Guam and the United States.
This initiative is a pivotal step towards amplifying Guam's voice in Washington, D.C., ensuring that our island’s unique needs and challenges are front and center at the federal level.
On April 23, 2025, the Congressman met with Lieutenant Governor Josh Tenorio at Adelup to present this visionary measure, rallying support from Adelup and engaging in fruitful dialogue with Guam Legislature Speaker Frank Blas Jr.
“I’m thrilled that both the Lieutenant Governor and Speaker have shown enthusiasm for my initiative. In the coming weeks, I’m hopeful we can solidify their support before we take this measure to Congress.” Moylan said.
As the military buildup unfolds and island residents grapple with skyrocketing food prices, soaring airfare, and escalating medical costs, the need for innovative solutions to these long-standing issues has never been more urgent.
“We’re dedicated to a One Guam approach. By collaborating closely with the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and the 38th Guam Legislature, we can amplify our island’s collective voice in Washington, D.C. Together, we can ensure that Guam’s priorities are not just heard but respected on the national stage. This initiative marks a hopeful new chapter for Guam, where unity and collaboration pave the way for a better future.” Moylan added.
