Guam - It's all about thinking green at the new Payless Market in Mangilao. Payless Markets Vice-President Kathy Sgro says like their other stores the new Mangilao store features a bailor for cardboard, receptacles separating plastic aluminum and paper goods, but what's unique.

"Our surrounding area, our parking lot, is in an area which percolates into the ground, which is environmentally friendly; our lightening system energy-efficient, as well as our refrigeration system.  Throughout our store proactive measures to be environmentally friendly," said Sgro.

Like at other stores, Payless is offering biodegradable bags along with paper and reusable bags, all in an effort for you and the family to think green - and Payless is taking it one step further, making it all the more enticing to go green.  "We're encouraging anyone that comes in with a reusable bag we have a promotion where you come in five times, you have an entry form you can submit, we'll be giving a Camry Hybrid and an energy-efficient Maytag refrigerator and a shopping spree. So these are just addition incentive to the $0.05 rebate we're offering."

The promotion runs until April 10, so get out there and go green.
