Summer Town Estates opens homes for seniors
Guam's first private and affordable residential community made specifically for senior citizens officially opened its doors on Wednesday. CoreTech president Ho Eun says the development is more than just actual housing but providing a standard for our man'amko.
"Our seniors they basically devoted their lives for our children and our community, and in return as a community I think we should present something that they deserve for long years." Today marked Phase I of the Summer Town Estates Development, which currently has 48 units ready. A total of 240 units will be completed by March of next year.
John James and his wife are the first tenants of summer town estates, and he said, "I feel good about it, I'm blessed to have a place like this; fortunately they built a unit like this for us senior citizens, so I'm lucky to be one of the qualified candidates."
Summer Town has one and two bedroom homes along with a fitness center and swimming pool. For more information on Summer Town Estates call 646-5800.
