Jury convicts man in veterinary burglary
It took a jury only an hour and a half to decide the fate of a man accused of breaking into Isla Veterinary Clinic.
John Joseph Manibusan was convicted of burglary as a second-degree felony.
Manibusan is noted to be a repeat offender, having ten prior criminal judgments. One involved possession of a schedule II controlled substance and another jury conviction in 2011.
Prosecutors plan to seek the maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
