Pay-Less Markets receives 2026 Shelby Report Exceptional Independents award

Pay-Less Markets has been named a recipient of the 2026 Shelby Report Exceptional Independents Award, recognizing outstanding independent grocery operators across the United States.

Presented by The Shelby Report, the Exceptional Independents Award honors independent food retailers whose innovation, operational excellence, and community leadership set them apart in a competitive marketplace.

“We are deeply honored to be recognized alongside so many outstanding independent grocers from across the U.S., and especially proud to receive this award for the second time, having first been honored in 2023,” said Kathy Calvo, President and CEO of Pay-Less Markets, Inc.

Award recipients were formally recognized during the Exceptional Independents Awards Ceremony at The NGA Show, the premier annual gathering for independent grocers and suppliers.
