The Guam Department of Education announced the Gifted and Talented Education Program Math Meet for School Year 2025–2026. The competition will take place on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the GDOE District Office in Tiyan, Building B, 1st Floor Conference Room.

The Math Meet will feature student representatives from elementary schools across the island, with each school selecting two participants from the 4th and 5th grade levels.

Students will compete in two rounds of mathematical challenges, ranging from fundamental computations to more advanced problem-solving tasks aligned with grade-level standards.

Students participating in the GATE Program are identified through a series of assessments and are provided with instructional enrichment opportunities designed to support their advanced academic abilities and talents.

The community is invited to attend and support these outstanding students as they demonstrate their mathematical skills and critical thinking abilities.
