The late Father Mike Crisostomo is being recognized on a national level for his impact in the fight against sexual abuse and domestic violence. The Archdiocese of Agaña announced he is among 24 recipients of the 2026 Visionary Voice Awards, presented by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center.

The Guam Coalition Against Sexual Assault & Family Violence presented the award posthumously on April 22 during a community outreach event at Micronesia Mall. The honor was accepted by Vicar General Paul Gofigan and members of Crisostomo's.

Father Mike served the community for 29 years and passed away on January 2, 2026 following a stroke.

The Visionary Voice Awards are given annually during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, recognizing individuals across the nation who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to ending sexual violence.
